Our Story

Hi, I’m Kelly — flower grower, mum of two, and founder of Two Blue Bells.

What began as a simple love of gardening — and a way to reconnect with myself after having kids — has grown into a small, seasonal flower farm on our family property in Nicholson, East Gippsland.

It all started with the joy of growing flowers at home and gifting them to friends and family. There was something special about sharing flowers that were grown slowly, sustainably, and with care — and I wanted to share that same feeling with others.

Two Blue Bells Flower Farm is not a florist. We grow flowers outdoors, guided by the seasons, and harvest what’s naturally blooming. We don’t offer weddings, events, or floral design — our flowers are grown to be enjoyed at home, in the small, everyday moments that matter.

The farm is intentionally small and family-run, shaped around the rhythms of the land and busy family life. Different flowers bloom at different times of the year, following the seasons, and no two bunches are ever the same — that’s part of growing with nature rather than trying to control it.

Sustainability is at the heart of how we grow. We don’t use chemical sprays or nasties, we avoid single-use plastics, and we focus on healthy soil and seasonal growing. Everything is grown outdoors, at its own pace, with respect for the environment it’s part of.

The name Two Blue Bells is inspired by our two boys, and by time spent living in Cornwall, UK — where wild flowers, hedgerows, and seasonal beauty were a constant part of daily life.

At its core, Two Blue Bells exists for a simple reason: to grow flowers that are good for nature, and to share joy through them.
